1. Eat a balanced diet

If the idea of eating lots of fruits and vegetables doesn’t appeal to you, think of how you can make eating healthy foods more enjoyable. Snack on carrot batons, cucumber sticks, cherry tomatoes and grapes – these are easy to eat and taste great.

 

2. Exercise every day

 

Incorporate exercise into your schedule by making it part of your everyday routine. If you don’t have any spare time, think about how you can add exercise into your routine without needing extra time. Perhaps you could cycle to work, instead of driving? Or maybe you could walk the children to school instead of taking them on the bus? Think about what you could change and go from there.

3. Stop doing the things that are bad for you

If you drink a lot of alcohol, make an effort to cut down and reduce your alcohol consumption. Perhaps you could aim to have a drink only at events or special occasions?

Take a relaxing bath before bed or practice yoga to relax your mind and prepare you for sleep.
